Amidst all this drama going on in North Carolina, I’ve decided to voice my opinion…

It’s perfectly legal for a man to marry his car, his dog, his boat, his gun, and yes, even his blowup doll. Google it. I dare you. But for a woman to marry the woman she loves or a man to marry the man he’s been with for 10 years, that’s illegal. What happened to seperation of Church and State? If I were to marry the woman I’ve been madly in love with for several years, why can’t I? My personal life does NOT affect yours in any fashion. These politicians are too busy dictating what we can and can not do, and yet they cannot take care of their own personal life. How many politicans have been busted for having affairs, dealing drugs, or committing crimes such as money laundering and embezzlement?

I’ve seen dozens of heterosexual couples get married and then several years later divorce, including my own parents. If a homosexual couple wishes to give marriage a try, I say let them! Because I gurantee you, they will have a much more enriching life than that of other “natural” couples.

Speaking of natural…what is natural about cloning? About mixing breeds of animals to produce a much more stronger, powerful specimen? There’s nothing natural about it. Nothing. But love is considered immoral and repugnant. You know what. Fuck. You. Yeah, I said it. Quote me, Mr. Senator.

I work in a very conservative state, a lot of my coworkers don’t know that I am a lesbian, but when they find out, nothing changes. In fact, they think it’s great. The sheriff of my county knows my family and he decided to drop by my house and we were all talking and I slipped up and made a comment about my girlfriend. Immediately, I grew scared. The sheriff looks at me, takes off his hat, stands up and walks towards me. He does something that I never would have expected. He extends his hand to me and says “I wish I could be like you; not afraid to be who you are and love who you want. I admire your courage. You have my upmost respect.”

That came from a sheriff in the state of Texas…TEXAS! One of the most conservative states in the nation. I will never forget that moment.

Back to the topic I started with, if I wish to fuck a girl, I’ll fuck her. If I wish to fall in love with a girl, I’ll fall in love with her. If i wish to marry her, I’ll marry her. I don’t need a piece of paper to dictate who I can and cannot love. So fuck you, Congress. You can suck on my left nut.
